2 Pc Dorsal Fin STC Kit. Piper PA-28 Early Models. ISH28006

This kit is designed for early Piper PA-28 models. It replaces the small dorsal with the larger 2 pc dorsal found on the later model Pipers.  The forward section is riveted to the fuselage while the aft section is installed with screws and is removable for inspection and maintenance.

The dorsal fin smoothes the airflow over the vertical fin and rudder to improve rudder control and effectiveness. With the more effective rudder trim drag is reduced and a small speed gain can be acheived with the larger dorsal.

The new dorsal adds beauty and makes your aircraft appear to be a newer model.

The kit comes complete with both the forward and aft dorsal parts, brackets, hardware, installation instructions and STC.
