Determine if a Cessna flap track is worn beyond wear limits with the Flap Track Wear Gauge
Cessna models 152, A152, F152, FA152 and 172RG aircraft may have various flap track rib assemblies installed. If flap track rib assembly part number 0523231-23 is currently installed, then part number MC0523231-14 must be used to replace the flap track. If flap track rib assembly part number 0525001-1, 0525001-1S or 2425001-1 is currently installed, then part number MC0525001-2 must be used to replace the flap track.
Flap track rib assembly 0523231-23 includes a 0.16 inch thick flap track with no lightening hole. Flap track rib assemblies 0525001-1, 0525001-1S and 2425001-1 include a 0.25 inch thick flap track with a 2.25 inches lightening hole located between the flap roller slots. |
