    Product Description

    Piper PA-28 Warrior, Cadet, Archer, Dakota and Arrow wing tips with landing lights by Knots 2U.

    Our upswept wing tips with integrated landing lights are the latest generation wing tip for the Piper series. The upsweep allows the air to "wash" off of the wing with minimal drag and prevents air from disturbing the aileron. Compared to the original rounded tips these will: Increase cruise speed 1-2 mph, Improve rate of climb 40-60 ft/min, Increase stability and handling, Reduce stall speed 1-2 mph, and reduce take-off roll.

    They are made of a durable fiberglass and include features such as easy to change and adjust bulbs.  Compared to the original rounded tips these will: Increase cruise speed 2-3 mph, Improve rate of climb 40-70 ft/min, Increase stability and handling, Reduce stall speed 2-3 mph, and Reduced take-off roll.

    The lights will add visibility and recognition in the pattern.  For even more visibility and recognition the HID Light system can be added. HIDs produce more then 5X the light output while drawing far less amperage.  The HID lights are also waranted for as long as you own your plane!

    For additional recognition you can purchase the Pulselite or MaxPulse system to add the wig wag effect.

    The kit comes complete with everything necessary to install them, including wire, circuit breaker, switch, installation instructions, and Supplemental Type Certificate. (Uses existing nav or nav/strobe assembly, strobe kit not included)

      I purchased these tips for my 1977 Piper Arrow III which was only equipped with a single nose landing light. I chose the G3 Whelen option as well as the MaxPulse switch and cannot explain the difference in terms of safety and visibility. The tips themselves are excellent quality and the fiberglass is very thick and substantial. The fitment was absolutely perfect and my A&P was surprised how effortlessly they mounted with only modification needed for the aileron counterweight. The fiberglass was also primed very well and only needed very light scuffing to prep for paint. Excellent product that greatly increased the safety, performance, and overall value of my airplane and just also happens to look fantastic! Highly recommend this product and Jake was a great help making sure I ordered the correct item.

      My Archer had wing tips with lights from (edit to remove company name)another company, I wasn't satisfied with them because I was never able adjust the lights toward the center of the runway far enough. the lights were set too far back in the wing tip. After talking to you guys I went with these on my new to me Turbo Arrow. What a difference! The HIDs are mind blowing bright and there is more than enough adjustment to get them exactly where I want. The fit and finish was head and shoulders above the others.
