Flush mountable for a wide variety of applications with minimal integration and easily retrofitable to the Whelen legacy strobe products.       It is too big.

      My old Whelen A506 was nicely flush mounted inside my tail. The OR5001V sticks out at least a 1/2" like a barnacle. Why not keep the same outside dimensions as the A506?

      There are other companies out there that build this same light that does not require extra wiring to be run for the strobe. They however are not certified. I do not understand the logic behind this light. It is a great product but need not be so difficult to install. Someone please certify one that uses existing wiring.
