Knots 2U provides the highest quality aircraft windows and winshields in the world. These are not cheap reproductions, they are manufactured to only the highest standards by the same manufacturer that provides many of the OEMs. SC-represents the new solar control material. UVA exposure will eventually damage your interior allowing it to fade and is the leading casue of skin cancer. UV radiation increases about 5% with every 1,000 ft of altituded. While the standard clear and grey will block virtually all of the UV rays it only blocks about 80% of the UVA. The SC product blocks all of the UV and 99% of the UVA which will help maintain your interior and prevent harmfull rays for you and your passengers. The SC- material also blocks near infrared radiation (NIR) which causes heat. You can reduce the NIR radiation (solar energy heat) by aproximately 30% with the SC- material! |

NOTE: ONLY CHOSE 1/4" MATERIAL IF YOUR AIRCRAFT CURRENTLY HAS 1/4 INSTALLED. MOST of these aircraft after 1974 used the 1/4" windshields from the factory. If you are in doubt, you can remove the OAT from the Left windshield to measure the thickness.
If you have original 1/8" Windshields the 3/16" option is a good choice.
OAT hole can be factory drilled, please specify either 3" or 9" from top of windshield.
